Healthcare industry being established in Thatta’s new economic zone: Owais Mir

KARACHI:  The Dynamic Engineering & Automation and Guangdong Kaper Technology Co. Ltd have agreed to set up a healthcare industry in one of the Special Economic Zones being inaugurated by Dynamic SEZ Ltd.

The two parties have reached a decision to set up Mask Healthcare Manufacturing Industry in the Pir Patho Special Economic Zone situated in District Thatta, 110 km apart from Port Qasim Industrial Zone.

CEO – Dynamic Engineering & Automation, Owais Mir in his statement issued on Saturday said, “This is just the beginning of the Industrial revolution of the country. In order to transform from a developing country to a developed country, we need to set up more industries in the country to enhance productivity and increase the exports of the country,” he added.

“This is the first initiative of the bigger goals of setting up industries in the Northern and Southern areas of the country. We, at Dynamic SEZ Ltd, are trying our best to play our part in bringing the industrial revolution to our country,” Owais Mir mentioned.

The first shipment of the DEA-KAPER Technologies Masks manufacturing machinery arrived at the Karachi Port on May 25, 2021. The operations of the mask manufacturing industry are expected to begin within a couple of months at the Pir Patho Special Economic Zone of Dynamic DEA Ltd.

Earlier, Dynamic Engineering and Automation (DEA), a privately owned engineering servicing company, had launched two Special Economic Zones (SEZs) at Pir Phato, Thatta and Padshahan, Chakwal districts.

The development concludes negotiations with Chinese investors and companies to establish manufacturing facilities, global service centres, R&D labs and sales centres with an estimated investment of $5 to $7 billion.

The master layout of the SEZs will be prepared by China Urban-Rural Holding Group, which specialises in rural and urban revitalisation, eco-friendly designs and implementation of balanced development of regions in China.
