Lara Croft is back for another globetrotting adventure in the first-look teaser for Netflix’s upcoming anime series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft which has Hayley Atwell at the helm.
Since she was first introduced in 1996, Lara Croft has gone onto become one of the most recognised figures in video game history. With 19 video games, three movies and a selection of novels and comics, she is as popular now as she was over 20 years ago. Not one to miss out on the action, Netflix are now getting involved with the animated series Tomb Raider: Legend of Lara Croft set to air in 2024.
The show is part of one of the most recent continuities of the character’s story, which began in 2013 with a reboot of the entire game universe that kicked off with Tomb Raider, and continued in Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. However, at the moment, no details have been shared about the plot of this particular chapter of the story.
