Ground Zero is set to hit the big screen on April 25, 2025, featuring Emraan Hashmi as a Deputy Commandant in the Border Security Force (BSF).
The Indian media, citing sources, reports that after their collaboration in the Diwali 2023 release Tiger 3, audiences will get to see Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi together again this Eid—this time through a special teaser screening.
The teaser of Ground Zero will reportedly be attached to Salman Khan’s Sikandar across major multiplex chains in India from March 31. According to the reports, Excel Entertainment has partnered with Indian multiplexes to showcase the teaser with Sikandar.
“Sikandar is expected to attract a massive audience due to Salman Khan’s presence, and Excel aims to capitalize on this opportunity by introducing Ground Zero to a wide section of viewers,” an insider revealed. While the teaser will have its digital launch by mid-next week, it will debut in cinemas this Sunday.
The film is slated for a solo theatrical release on April 25, 2025. As per Indian media reports, Ground Zero is an action thriller that follows Emraan Hashmi’s character, a BSF officer, leading a two-year-long investigation. The story is said to be inspired by an untold battle that took everyone by surprise, blending action, emotion, and patriotism.
Excel Entertainment is reportedly executing a strategic marketing campaign, with the teaser release followed by a gripping trailer and impactful songs leading up to the film’s premiere.
