ISLAMABAD: Good news for Pakistani seeking government jobs as hundreds of fresh employment opportunities have just been approved in the capital’s police force.
The federal government has given the green light for 1,934 new positions in Islamabad Police. These recruitments will mainly strengthen the Special Protection Unit and the Law and Order Division.
Out of these, 997 posts have been earmarked for VIP security and the protection of sensitive installations, while another 937 slots are dedicated to maintaining peace and public safety on the ground. The bulk of the hiring includes 1,580 Constables and 180 Head Constables.
In addition, authorities have also cleared 24 new Inspector posts to better supervise field operations. On top of that, 100 Assistant Sub-Inspectors and 50 Sub-Inspectors will be directly inducted into the force.
All these new jobs will be funded through the existing budget of the Federal Police to avoid any extra burden on the national exchequer.
This development is being seen as a much-needed boost for Pakistan’s youth, especially at a time when government job opportunities remain limited.
Keep an eye on official announcements for application details in the coming days.
