Gold sees massive drop in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Friday, following an downward trend in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs3,300 to reach Rs501,562.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs2,829, bringing it to Rs430,008, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Thursday, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,400, reaching Rs504,862.

Globally, gold prices also declined, falling $33 to reach $4,792 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices dropped by Rs70, with per tola rates reaching Rs8,444.
