Gold prices in Pakistan saw another rise on Thursday, following the upward trend in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs1,300, reaching Rs278,300.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs1,114, bringing it to Rs238,597, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold prices had increased by Rs1,000, settling at Rs277,000 per tola.
The international gold price also saw a boost on Thursday. According to APGJSA, the rate reached $2,665 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a $13 increase during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola.
