Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Tuesday, breaking a losing streak as they rose in line with international market trends.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, reaching Rs276,000. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs857 to settle at Rs236,625, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows Monday’s decline when the gold price per tola fell by Rs700 to Rs275,000.
Internationally, gold prices also saw an uptick on Tuesday. According to the APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,642 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $10 increase during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola.
