Gold prices in Pakistan climbed sharply on Thursday, in line with gains seen in the international market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold rose by Rs2,200 per tola, reaching Rs455,762.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams increased by Rs1,800 to Rs390,742, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold prices had already jumped by Rs2,700 per tola to stand at Rs453,562.
On the global front, gold advanced by $22 to $4,334 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved higher, gaining Rs78 to close at Rs6,900 per tola.
