WASHINGTON: The global pandemic COVID-19 has killed over 773,000 people worldwide and affected more than 21,800,000 people.
According to the latest data, the number of coronavirus infection cases across the world has surged to 21,826,450 and the pandemic has so far claimed 773,072 lives.
More than 14.5 million people infected with coronavirus recovered globally. The death toll from the coronavirus in the United States has risen to 173,128 and 5,566,632.
Brazil is the second most affected country by the epidemic, with 3,340,197 million people affected and 107,879 killed. The number of coronavirus patients in India has risen to 2,647,663 million and the total number of deaths due to 916 deaths in one day has risen to 51,045.
In Russia, 922,8853 people have been infected with the coronavirus and 15,685 have lost their lives. The death toll from coronavirus in South Africa has risen to 11,839, with 587,345 people affected. In Mexico, 522,000 people have been affected and 56,757 have died.

The first 5 million cases of coronavirus in the world were reported in 185 days while the last 5 million cases came to light in just 18 days. The first case of coronavirus was reported on November 17, 2019, and on March 6, the number of cases worldwide exceeded one million.
The number of coronavirus cases worldwide reached 5 million on 20th May, and more than 10 million on 27th June.
