Game Changer box office collection Day 2: Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s political action film, directed by Shankar, generated strong buzz with its trailer.
Billed as a high-budget South Indian movie, released after Pushpa 2: The Rule, fans were eager to see what it had to offer. Unfortunately, the film has disappointed many, reflected in its box office performance.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Game Changer saw a significant 57.84% drop in collections on Saturday. After earning Rs 51 crore on its opening day, it made just Rs 21.5 crore on day 2, bringing its total India gross to Rs 72.5 crore.
The Telugu version earned Rs 53.95 crore, while the Hindi version garnered Rs 14.5 crore. The Tamil version made Rs 3.82 crore, and the Malayalam version earned Rs 0.03 crore, with the Kannada version earning Rs 0.02 crore.
The film’s Telugu version had an occupancy rate of 31.19%, while the Hindi version had 21.82%. On January 10, after its release, the film faced allegations of inflated box office numbers, with makers claiming Rs 186 crore worldwide on day 1.
Directed by S. Shankar and produced by Dil Raju, Game Changer also stars Nassar, SJ Suriyah, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, and Murali Sharma.
