Important news for candidates appearing in the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination: the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released details of vacancies for the CSS Examination 2024.
According to the press note issued by the Federal Public Service Commission, a total of 364 vacancies have been allocated across various federal departments and institutions, including 247 new and 117 leftover vacancies from previous years.
Under open merit, 214 vacancies have been allocated, 32 for women, and 118 for minorities.
For candidates from Punjab, 179 seats have been allocated; 48 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; 31 for Balochistan; 32 for Sindh (Rural); 29 for Sindh (Urban); 15 for former FATA; 8 for Azad Kashmir; and 4 for Gilgit-Baltistan.
After the CSS 2024 examination results, successful candidates will be allotted to various groups.
Notably, the Central Superior Services (CSS) is a competitive examination conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) of Pakistan to recruit civil servants for various posts in the federal government.
It is one of the most prestigious and challenging exams in the country, aimed at selecting talented individuals for key bureaucratic positions in different occupational groups such as the Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service, Foreign Service, and others.
