The Pakistani rupee remained largely stable in both the interbank and open markets today, Friday, 5 December 2025, with minor fluctuations recorded against major global currencies.
According to the latest data from Forex.pk, the US dollar is trading at Rs 280.30 in interbank buying and Rs 280.80 in selling.

In the open market, the dollar is being bought at Rs 281.40 and sold at Rs 283.25.

In interbank trade, the Saudi Riyal stands at Rs 74.71 buying and Rs 74.84 selling, while the UAE Dirham is priced at Rs 76.35 buying and Rs 76.48 selling.
The euro is trading at Rs 326.80 buying and Rs 327.38 selling.
In the open market, the Kuwaiti Dinar continues to remain the highest-valued currency, with buying at Rs 911 and selling at Rs 921.
The British pound is quoted at Rs 371.60 buying and Rs 375.10 selling.
Meanwhile, the Canadian Dollar is being bought at Rs 200.76 and sold at Rs 201.12 in the interbank market, whereas in the open market, it is priced slightly lower at Rs 199.50 buying and Rs 205 selling.
The Chinese Yuan is trading at approximately Rs 39.68 buying and Rs 39.75 selling in the interbank market.
Overall, currency movement remained modest across the board.
Officials note that exchange rates may fluctuate further during the day and will be updated accordingly.
