Five kids died and several others hospitalized as measles broke out in Abto Karez Roghani area of Chaman in Balochistan.
Sources said that after special instructions from Commander Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan Chaman Scouts Brig. Shakeel Ahmed, district administration and FC jointly established a free medical camp in Abto Karez Roghani area of Chaman.
Around 800 children who were suffering with measles vaccinated in the medical camp and while free medicines also distributed among them.
The residents of the area thanked Commander of Chaman Scouts Brig. Shakeel Ahmad and Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmad Bungalzai for providing timely health assistance to the affected children.
They said that such kind of medical camps must be established in every district to curb spreading of dangerous diseases in the area.
