Enter Islamabad in constitutional limits, warns Firdous Awan

ISLAMABAD: Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that those who wanted to challenge the government’s decree could enter the federal capital under the Constitutional limits.

The statement of Firdous Ashiq Awan came after Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman earlier hinted at not moving towards Islamabad’s D-Chowk.
Awan further said that the government was willing to hold talks with the JUI-F chief on the economy and electoral reforms.

However, she maintained that the government’s offer of dialogue must not be mistaken as a weakness.
Awan lamented that the JUI-F chief was using the religious cards once again.

Earlier on Sunday, during the rally, the JUI-F chief while addressing the rally once again demanded the resignation letter of Prime Minister Imran khan.
He warned the government that the JUI-F would continue to stage a sit-in if the requests were not fulfilled.
He further warned to shut down the whole Pakistan if demands were not met.
