SUKKUR: The doctors and paramedical staff of the Ghulam Mohammad Mahar Medical College Hospital Sukkur held a meeting to discuss the issue of FIR registered against professors, doctors, and paramedical staff of the paediatric department over missing of the child from the hospital.
The meeting was held in the final year lecture hall of the GMC Sukkur. Many faculty members, doctors, members, and officials of the SMBB teachers association, Pakistan Medical Association, Young Consultant Association, Young Doctors’ Association, Pakistan Nursing Association, and Young Nurse’s Association were present.
All of the officeholders spoke out against the police and the government, demanding that they either retract the FIR or downgrade it because it was false to reality and had no information on the strange woman who entered the ward and kidnapped the child.

The meeting observed that the police are trying to rescue themselves, and naming the doctors demonstrates that the FIR has ulterior objectives. All of the hospital’s facilities, excluding the emergency room, will remain closed until the FIR is dropped or otherwise resolved, and the protest will be documented every day at 11 a.m.
They also warned to expand the protest in case of failure to acceptance of their demands.
