Eventually, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan announced the date for the dissolution of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies. Addressing PTI’s public rally in Lahore yesterday, he announced that both the provincial assemblies will be dissolved on Friday, December 23. In his address he blamed that the then COAS General (R) Qamar Javid Bajwa had a main role in toppling PTI’s government in the center some eight months ago.

Earlier, various rumors were going on in the political circles that Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi would not support the PTI’s position of dissolving the assemblies, but yesterday when PTI Chairman Imran Khan was addressing the rally through a video link, he was accompanied by CM Elahi and Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan, which clearly shows that CM Elahi will fully support Imran Khan’s decision regarding dissolution of Punjab Assembly.

Earlier, CM Elahi had also clarified that Punjab Assembly owes to Imran Khan and he would fully follow Imran Khan decision regarding the future of the assembly. Elahi had said that Imran Khan had reduced the politics of the opponents to zero, those who were spreading rumours about difference between PTI and PML-Q would be disappointed again.

The value of the dollar is increasing day by day, due to which the volume of loans is also increasing, inflation has also broken the back of the poor, while the prices of various items are increasing significantly every day. Investors in the stock market are suffering from different problems due to lack of business. According to experts, the country’s political situation has a direct impact on the stock market.

We need to take decisions together for the survival of this country and to save Pakistan from default. Survival of the country is above all, so in this critical situation it is the responsibility of both government and apposition to keep aside all political rivalries and show flexibility in the better interest of the country and the nation.
