LOS ANGELES: Johnny Depp has been trying to get his career back on track after winning a blockbuster trial against his former wife. Fans have been continuously asking Disney to apologize to the Pirates of the Caribbean star and now rumors have been circulating that the company allegedly sent an apology letter along with an offer of $301 million to return back as Captain Jack Sparrow in the famous movie franchise.
According to some reports, Disney is very interested in patching up its relationship with Johnny Depp. They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Hear and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another pirate film or two.
Johnny Depp’s career went down drastically when Amber Heard accused him and the Woke-crowd ran a campaign to cancel him. He stopped getting movie offers after the smear campaign. The movies such as Fantastic Beast 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean refused to feature him. However, the tables have turned now and reports suggest that Johnny Depp has been asked to return back as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie in a reportedly $301 million deal considered as a formal apology.
During the defamation trial, Johnny Depp had said that he would not return to the franchise even if Disney paid him $300 million. However, the fans really want to see the actor starring as Jack Sparrow in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
