ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has prepared a summary on the possibility of a reduction in prices of petroleum products by Rs 8 to 10 which will be announced today.
According to details, after the fall in crude oil prices in the international market, the federal government will consider the reduction in the prices of petroleum products, about which OGRA has prepared a summary.
Reliable sources said that a reduction in prices of petroleum products is expected to be announced today, however, in case of tax adjustment, it may be decided to maintain the prices of the products.
Sources said that in case of no increase in the levy in terms of tax adjustment, it has been proposed to reduce the prices of petroleum products by Rs 8 to 10 per liter.
Petrol price is likely to be reduced by Rs 8 per liter while diesel price is likely to be reduced by Rs 10. The new prices will be announced today and will be effective for the next 15 days.
