LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested two terrorists belonging to a banned organization in Lahore.
1,320 grams of explosives, four nonelectric detonators, a weapon, and prohibited material were recovered from the terrorists, according to a CTD official who made the announcement here on Saturday.
The CTD conducted 367 combing operations this week with the assistance of the local police, resulting in the arrest of 226 suspects and the filing of 22 (first information report) FIRs.

In a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) with the police last week, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed two terrorists in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area of Lakki Marwat.
Based on intelligence inputs that wanted terrorists were present in the Lakki Marwat neighbourhood of Takhti Khel, the CTD and local police conducted the operation.
