ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported no death in the last 24 hours from Covid-19, however, the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,560,350. The nationwide tally of fatalities stands at 30,508 on Tuesday.
According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH), at least 421 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 across the country in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has conducted 16,648 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 421 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 2.53 percent.
According to the data issued by NIH, 170 COVID-19 patients were being treated in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) across the country at different hospitals.
Presently, 163 patients of the disease have been in precarious condition.
