KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh along with the Pakistan Army and civil administration completed rescue operation in the collapsed building of Karachi’s Golimar area.
A press release issued by rangers’ spokesman stated the removal of debris of the multi-story residential building in Golimar, which had collapsed on March 5 (Thursday) completed.
He said the bodies of 27 people killed in the disaster and 23 injured were shifted to the hospital during the operation.
It stated on the special instructions of Rangers Director General Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari, immediately after the collapse of the building the rangers personnel were dispatched to the spot for help.

The rangers along with the Pakistan Army and civil administration took full part in and also assisted in the process of transporting the heavy machinery to clear the debris.
The families of the affected lauded the initiative of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Pak Army and civil administration.
On March 5, a five-story residential building, 400 Quarter, located in Golimar Number 2, had caved.
Rescue teams, rangers and police had reached the spot and started the relief operations to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
