Global coronavirus fatalities surge past 60,000

BEIJING: The global death toll from the novel coronavirus outbreak jumped 3,000 on Monday after China reported 42 more deaths and the number of cases augmented across the globe.
According to the Chinese National Health Commission, China reported 42 more deaths on Monday, most in Wuhan central Hubei province.
The death toll in China alone jumped to 2,912 however, it is also rising abroad, with the second-highest tally in Iran with 54, while the United States and Australia had their first deaths from the coronavirus disease during the weekend.
Coronavirus outbreak has now infected over 88,000 people and spread to more than 60 countries around the world after first emerging in China in 2019.
South Korea, the biggest coat of infections outside China, confirmed reported cases were about 500 new cases on Monday, bringing toll jumped 4,000.
With fears of a pandemic on the rise, the WHO emphases all countries to adopt critical care ventilators to treat patients with serious symptoms of the deadly coronavirus outbreak.
The speedy swell of the coronavirus has jumped fears over its impact on the world economy, causing world markets to log their most horrible sufferers since the 2008 financial calamity.
The rapidly spreading virus has formed fear and anxiety around the globe. Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the spread of a deadly new coronavirus is accelerating and the country is at a ‘critical stage’.
At least 60 countries outside China have confirmed cases and several nations have evacuated their citizens from Hubei. Several airlines have suspended flights to and from China in an effort to prevent the spread of the disease.
The cases have also been reported including Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Japan, Australia, France and the United States.
Iran’s death toll from the coronavirus outbreak has reached 43, and the number of infected people across the country has reached 593 on Sunday. Iran has prearranged the closure of educational institutions, and cultural, trade centers after a coronavirus outbreak. In Italy, the death toll from coronavirus augmented to 29.
Panic wrapped up people as the number of victims has increased in the country. Australia has also confirmed its first coronavirus death today. South Korea dictated another 376 coronavirus cases today, jumping the national total to 3,526 cases and 17 deaths. Pakistan has reported four Coronavirus cases. The patients had recently returned from Iran.
