Coronavirus death toll hits 1,033,000 worldwide

WASHINGTON: Coronavirus has infected 34,831,366 million people and killed 1,033,238 people worldwide.

Coronavirus-infected 25,895,824 people recovered and the number of active cases is 7,902,304.

The first death from coronavirus was reported on 11th January 2020 in China. On 9th April, the total death toll from coronavirus rose to 100,000.

The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 213,524 people dying and more than 7.549 million being diagnosed with the virus.

India ranks second in the world in terms of Corona cases where the total number of cases has exceeded 64.73 million. The total number of deaths from corona in India has reached one lakh 875.

Brazil is the third most affected country in the world, with 48.82 million people affected and 145,431 deaths. In Russia, more than 1.194 million people have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 21,077.

Colombia ranks fifth among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 26,397 deaths and more than 841,000 reported cases.

In Peru, more than 821,000 people have been affected, while 32,609 people have lost their lives. More than 810,000 people have been affected in Spain and 32,086 deaths have been reported.
