LAHORE: All Pakistan CNG Association Ghayas Paracha has announced to reduce the CNG prices by Rs 9 per litre in Punjab.
According to the All Pakistan CNG Association, the new price of CNG in Punjab has been fixed at Rs 84, 50 paise per liter. New CNG prices have been implemented immediately and the prices have been reduced at CNG stations.
It is to be noted that the Finance Ministry yesterday announced a reduction of Rs 15 per liter in the prices of petroleum products. With oil prices coming down to the lowest level in the international market, the government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan earlier today said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan directed authorities that not to increase gas prices.
She said that the prime minister would set up procedures for giving relief to the people. The necessary institutional reforms would be introduced in the gas sector, she added.
Awan said that the irreversible supply of gas to the people would be continued. She earlier today thanked China for sending medical facilities, equipment and doctors to tackle the coronavirus disease in the country.
