KARACHI: K-Electric has issued a schedule for temporary power outages in various parts of Karachi on September 30, 2026. Electricity supply will be suspended at different times in areas connected to selected feeders due to scheduled maintenance work.
According to the schedule, power supply to Ali Brohi Goth RMU is expected to remain suspended from 11:29 am to 4:59 pm, while Alliance Arcade will face an outage from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.
In Atlas Battery, electricity is scheduled to remain unavailable from 9:59 am to 10:59 pm.
Similarly, the scheduled outage for Eastern Film will run from 10:30 am to 11:00 pm. Power supply to areas connected to KDA TP-03 is expected to be suspended from 10:29 am to 10:00 pm, while Khas Traders will face an outage from 9:59 am to 8:59 pm.
The K-Electric schedule also includes several other feeders, including Mughal-e-Azam, Murtaza Commercial, Nucleus House, Pak Foundry, Pak Scientific Society, Railway Marshalling Yard, Sector 21, Silver Town, Zahoor Councillor, Zia Colony and Ziauddin Hospital, among others.
The duration of the outage varies from one feeder to another, meaning different areas may experience power interruptions at different times during the day.
According to K-Electric, electricity supply will be restored in the affected areas once the scheduled maintenance work has been completed.
Consumers have been advised to check the outage schedule for their respective feeder and make necessary arrangements in advance.
