LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has sought progress reports from the provincial ministers.
According to details, the ministers have been directed to prepare the report according to the guidelines which have been issued by Usman Buzdar and submit to the CM Office.
The report will include progress details including policy reforms and development on important steps of concerned departments under the ministers.
In the report, the department will also mention information on the implementation of the development program while the departments will also report on the progress on automation and online service delivery. The departments will also provide details on steps taken to facilitate public-private partnerships and business.
The officials further said that a report has also been sought from the provincial ministers on the welfare of the people and special measures taken to provide them facilities while details regarding amendments to the existing legislation and new legislation have also been sought.
The provincial ministers would also present a report on the steps taken for austerity. Later, the performance report would be made public.
Earlier, the chief minister appealed the people to stay in their homes to protect themselves and their families from coronavirus. He maintained that the citizens should not go out until it is necessary.
Usman Buzdar stressed that the government can only control the pandemic through cooperation by the people. He advised all to maintain social distancing and to not unnecessarily visit outside.
