QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan today (Sunday) has announced that he has managed to defeat the novel coronavirus.
The chief minister, on October 13, had announced he has coronavirus and on October 26, said he had again tested positive for the deadly virus.
Taking to Twitter, he said, “Alhamdulilah, my COVID-19 test has come negative, Allah has been kind and thanks a lot all who have kept in prayers.”

It is pertinent to mention here that Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and had said he would quarantine himself.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator Dr Musadik Malik, too, announced his health status noting he had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
More than 100 Pakistani politicians, including PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, and National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser have previously tested positive for coronavirus, most of whom went into self-isolation and recovered.
