Captain Sarfraz praises Sri Lanka’s performance against Pakistan

LAHORE: Captain Sarfraz Ahmad has said that Sri Lanka praised overall performance against Pakistan in the first T20 international of three-match series at Gadaffi stadium.
Addressing a post-match press conference, Sarfraz Ahmad said that Sri Lanka has produced a clinical performance to register a striking victory against the world number one in Lahore.

Sarfraz said, “We have a lot of expectations from Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal but they failed to leave any impact.”
The captain said, “The whole team has suffered the consequences of Shehzad and Akmal’s performance.”
The captain added that both the players were added in the playing XI after consultation with the head coach Misbah-ul-Haq.
On the other hand, the captain of Sri Lanka’s team Dasun Shanaka hailed his team’s overall performance against Pakistan, saying that beating world number one is a great honour for us.
The Sri Lankan captain said: “All players should come to Pakistan to play PSL.”
