LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz has appealed to the protesting Hazara community to bury the coal miners – who were killed in a shocking attack by armed terrorists on Sunday.
In a Tweet today (Wednesday), the PML-N vice president said that the murder of the coal miners was not a small tragedy. “The whole nation shares your grief. Me and My father and are saddened too,” she remarked.

Maryam appealed for the slain coal miners to be buried, asking the mourners not to wait for an “insensitive and heartless” man. “May Almighty Allah (SWT) elevate their ranks in the hereafter and grant you patience,” she added.
Thousands of Hazaras have staged a protest, arranging the coffins across a highway in the provincial capital. Similar protests have been staged across the country urging the government to bring the culprits to justice.
Members of the Hazara community said that they will not withdraw until Prime Minister Imran Khan meets them and the killers are brought to justice.
Islamic State militants slit the throats of 11 miners in a residential compound near a mine site in Balochistan, filming the entire incident and later posting it online.
