British Royal couple to arrive in Pakistan today
LAHORE: The British Royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan today.
The trip will be the first of its kind undertaken by any member of the British royal family to Pakistan in 13 years.
British High Commissioner in Pakistan Thomas Drew said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince Willian will pay a five-day official visit to Pakistan.
He said that most importantly the Royal couple hoped to meet as many Pakistanis as possible during the visit particularly the youth who are shaping the future of the country.

Drew added that the duo is looking forward to building a lasting friendship with the people of Pakistan.
Prince William and Kate Middleton will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi on October 15. Later, the British royal couple will travel to Lahore on October 16 before leaving for Chitral on October 17.
The royal couple announced earlier that they will pay an official visit to Pakistan at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
