LONDON: British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has urged the UK and Pakistani celebrities to help the people to cope with the COVID-19 disease.
In a tweet, the British-Pakistani boxer wrote, “I urge high profile UK & Pakistan celebrities & sportsmen/women to do their bit in helping the people. The country supports you all when you are on the sports field, stage & big screen. Don’t hide, come out and do your bit! You all have the power to help.”

The boxer had also offered his four-story building to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) to accommodate COVID-19 patients as part of a fight against the virus. The building was supposed to be a wedding hall and retail venue but the boxer had offered it at a tragic time.
Moreover, Argentine footballer Lionel Messi had donated one million euros to Barcelona’s hospital to help for the coronavirus patients in Spain.
