DHAKA: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has opposed holding the Asia Cup matches in the United Arab Emirates.
Sources said that the BCB has no objection to Pakistan’s hybrid model, the board does not accept the United Arab Emirates venue because the heat is very high there and the cricketers are not willing to go there.
BCB also said that it is more appropriate to have the Asia Cup at a single venue, Pakistan is the host of the event, and the Asian Cricket Council and Pakistan have to decide together.
