ISLAMABAD: On the instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, a notification has been issued to award Sitara-i-Imtiaz to the second Pakistani female mountaineer, Naila Kayani, who climbed Mount Everest.
In a statement issued by the media wing of the Prime Minister’s House, it was stated that an official notification has been issued for awarding Sitara-i-Imtiaz to Naila Kayani.

PM Shehbaz Sharif announced the honour of Sitara-i-Imtiaz for Naila Kayani to make the nation proud. Kayani also recently achieved the feat of climbing Annapurna, the world’s 10th-highest mountain at 8091 meters above sea level.
It should be noted that Samina Baig was the first Pakistani woman to climb Mount Everest in 2013.
