In a major development for individuals seeking long-term residence in Bahrain, the Gulf nation has announced excellent news.
Easing its residency regulations, Bahrain has reduced the minimum investment requirement for the Golden Visa by 35%.
According to the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), operating under the Ministry of Interior, the investment threshold has been lowered from 200,000 Bahraini dinars to 130,000 Bahraini dinars.
Individuals who own property valued at a minimum of 130,000 Bahraini dinars will now be eligible for the program.
It is worth noting that the Golden Residency Visa is available to various categories of applicants.
These include real estate investors, professionals earning a monthly income of at least 2,000 Bahraini dinars, retired individuals who have worked in Bahrain for at least 15 years, and non-resident retirees receiving a pension of 4,000 Bahraini dinars or more.
Applicants must submit their applications through the ministry’s online portal.
Required documents include a passport, six-month bank statement, health insurance, and proof of residence. The application fee is 5 Bahraini dinars. Golden Visa holders will be permitted to work anywhere in the country.
