PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali has announced his party’s support for Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F)’s Azadi March.
Addressing the party’s provincial council at Bacha Khan center in Peshawar, Chief Asfandyar Wali said that his party has extended its support to the JUI-F led Azadi March.
He further said that a procedure was being chalked out to the extent their party would support the JUI-F in its protest.
According to the ANP chief, his party and the opposition wanted to end the present government and hold transparent elections where all institutions will work under its constitutional limits and the army should not be deputed at polling stations.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced an anti-government march on 31st October in Islamabad to oust the incumbent government. The JUI-F chief has alleged that the government came to power through rigging.
