KARACHI: More names have emerged in the ongoing investigation into the alleged drug network linked to accused Anmol Pinky, with authorities identifying seven additional close associates who have now been declared absconders.
According to details, fresh revelations surfaced during proceedings at the court of a Judicial Magistrate (South) in Karachi in the drug case registered against Anmol alias Pinky. Police submitted a new investigation report to the court.
The report states that seven more individuals allegedly linked to the drug distribution network have been identified and officially declared absconders by police. The fugitives include Fayyaz, Aqib, Hamza, Aizaz, Zaid, and two women identified as Sabra and Anna.
Investigators further noted that the prime accused, Anmol alias Pinky, was arrested on May 12 this year. Following her arrest, three alleged facilitators — Zeeshan, Sohail, and Sameer — have already been taken into custody.
Police officials said efforts have been intensified to arrest the remaining absconders, including the women named in the report, and expressed confidence that the entire network would soon be brought to justice.
