A 19-year-old boy named Aizaz Ahmed met Azila Flores Rosie on Facebook. She arrived in Buner District and accepted Islam and got married to Aizaz Ahmed.
According to the documents, the American woman had married Aizaz Ahmed in the District Court on July 3. She accepted Islam and changed her name to Ayesha.
In the past few years, many foreign women have come here after saying goodbye to their homeland to marry Pakistani men whose stories are viral on social media.
Earlier, an Indian woman named Anju had also reached Deer Bala district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to meet and marry a Pakistani man Nasrullah. She is now in Pakistan and living with Nasrullah’s family.
