The Federal Cabinet sent the matter to the Parliament instead of releasing the required funds to the Election Commission for holding the elections, after the decision of the Supreme Court
On the other hand, with the approval of the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill 2023 by the joint session of the Parliament, pressure is being put on the judges who decided in favor of the election, including Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial.
