ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Indian brand ISIS is involved in the Dasu incident and the government should further increase the security of the Chinese people.
The former home minister while addressing a press conference said that he has written a letter to the President of FATF about the statement of the Indian Foreign Minister that it should be investigated by a special team.
Rehman Malik said that he strongly condemned the discriminatory and biased treatment towards Pakistan by the FATF. “The statement of the Indian Foreign Minister should be tabled at the next meeting of the FATF that clearly states that how the neighbouring country insured Pakistan stays on the grey list,” he maintained.
According to Malik, the Indian Foreign Minister’s confession has raised a big question mark on the transparency of the FATF. After the statement of the Indian foreign minister, the FATF’s action against Pakistan became controversial, he said by adding that he has been saying since day one that India has a hand in keeping Pakistan on the grey list.
Rehman Malik said that due to political pressure and influence, Pakistan has been kept on the grey list continuously. “International forums like FATF should not have been used for political purposes. FATF immediately remove Pakistan from the grey list,” he demanded.
The former home minister said that Indian brand ISIS is involved in Dasu incident as evidence of direct involvement of India has been found in the incident. “Pakistan and China should raise Dasu incident in UN,” he added.
He also claimed that India does not want peace in Afghanistan as it is threatening for India itself. Rehman Malik said that whether armed or unarmed, he sees the Taliban occupying Kabul soon. “In any case, ISIS has announced operations in Pakistan under Khorasan province,” he added.
