Pakistan will be among top places for investment by 2020, PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan will be counted among top countries for investment before the end of 2020, today on Thursday.
The statement got media attention when Prime Minister tweeted that,”Another of our Manifesto commitments fulfilled – this time on Ease Of Doing Business. Pak achieves biggest improvement in its history in World Bank’s EODB rankings. Over last decade Pak’s ranking had slipped more than 50 places. Now we have improved 28 places – from 136 to 108.”
Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated his team and wrote,”I want to congratulate all the people in our govt who worked hard to make this happen. But we still have a long way to go. InshaAllah before the end of 2020 Pakistan will become one of the top places for investment.”

Another of our Manifesto commitments fulfilled – this time on Ease Of Doing Business. Pak achieves biggest improvement in its history in World Bank’s EODB rankings. Over last decade Pak’s ranking had slipped more than 50 places. Now we have improved 28 places – from 136 to 108.

Earlier in an official meeting, PM also discussed the role of media and said media is proved to be helpful regarding the development and progress of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Khan also maintained that any support from the media in order to ensure stability and to deal with current challenges will be appreciated by government.
According to sources, PM also expressed satisfaction while speaking on economy and said that economic indicators are showing improvement. The endeavors of the government bring positive results in this regard. He also encouraged media to play its role and highlight positive economic condition so that it will strengthen the confidence of investors.
