KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and TV anchor Aamir Liaquat Hussain broke silence regarding his third marriage and have filed a defamation case against Haniya Khan, who claims to be his third wife.
In a video message issued today (Tuesday), Aamir Liaquat asserted that he had filed a defamation case against Haniya Khan, while a First Information Report (FIR) has also been registered under section 295-C.
The religious scholar also shared some clips of Haniya Khan’s videos, in which she can be seen abusing and uttering blasphemous words. He also demanded nikahnama (marriage certificate) from Haniya Khan, and asked for legal guardians.
Hailing from Islamabad, the actress framed allegations on the host and his second wife Tuba Aamir in a video message shared on social media. Haniya Khan also claimed that Tuba Aamir used ‘black magic’ against her.
Earlier, Liaquat shared two videos featuring a man he says is Khan’s father. The first video shows the man crouched under Hussain’s arm as the two hug. “You’re worried, I understand, and so am I, there are false accusations against me. But she’s your daughter,” said Liaquat.
The second video features the man looking straight into the camera, apologising to Liaquat on behalf of his daughter, and saying, “Whatever Haniya has said about her nikkah and everything are lies. No such thing happened, I have no knowledge of such an occurrence.
“Haniya is depressed, and that’s why she’s doing what she’s doing. She had come to Karachi, now I’m taking her home. I appeal to everyone to not say anything that brings shame to his name,” the man added.
