WASHINGTON: The coronavirus virus has affected 49,018,595 people worldwide and killed 1,239,418 people.
The number of people recovering from coronavirus has risen to 34,981,203 and there are 1,27,97,974 active cases. The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with more than 240,000 deaths and 9,919,522 people infected.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 1,25,029 deaths and more than 8,411,000 people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is one lakh 61 thousand 779 and more than 56 lakh 14 thousand people are affected.
In Russia, more than 1.712 million people have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 29,509. In France, more than 1.6 million people have been affected and 38,037 have lost their lives. More than 1.365 million people have been affected in Spain, while 38,486 people have died.

In Argentina, more than 1.217 million people have been affected and 32,766 have died. More than 32,000 deaths have been reported in Colombia, while 1,117,000 cases have been reported.
The world’s first death from coronavirus was reported on 11th January 2020 in China. On April 9, the total death toll from coronavirus rose to 100,000. The first 100,000 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the first 89 days.
