ISTANBUL: Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, who plays the lead role in ‘Ertugrul: Derilis’ drama series, visited the Embassy of Pakistan in Turkey to convey his greetings on the Independence Day of Pakistan.
Consul General of Pakistan in Istanbul Bilal Khan Pasha had invited the Turkish actor. He exchanged greetings and gifted him with a book on the occasion. In a tweet, the diplomat said the Duzyatan would soon visit Pakistan.
“We are grateful to our brother @EnginAltanDuz for expressing his love & sincere wishes on our Independence Day. He will be in Pakistan soon,” wrote Bilal Khan Pasha in a tweet.
The Turkish actor extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan on Independence Day in a video message. “A very happy independence to all the people of Pakistan,” he wished his Pakistani fans in Urdu language.
Earlier, Engin Altan Duzyatan had expressed love for the people of Pakistan. He expressed gratitude to the people of Pakistan for giving such a warm response to the Turkish serial in Pakistan which has broke all records of popularity after being broadcast on state-run television.
The Turkish star has won the hearts of millions of fans by essaying the historic role of Ertugrul after the drama series started airing in Pakistan on state-run television. He also expressed wish to visit Pakistan and meet his fans soon.
