ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has adjourned indictment proceedings against former President Asif Ali Zardari till 29th July.
The court approved exemption from the appearance of both Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in the same case.
As per details, the court was due to indict Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur today in the mega-money laundering reference.
While Abdul Ghani Majeed and other respondents appeared in court, the hearing was adjourned due to the absence of Judge Azam Khan.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will submit a plea bargain report on Zain Malik, the son-in-law of Bahria Town chief Malik Riaz, at the next hearing. The indictment process will begin after the report is presented.
On 10th June, Zardari had surrendered himself to a team of the NAB after IHC rejected his and Talpur’s pre-arrest bail plea in the money laundering case.
NAB has accused both of owning shares of the Zardari Group, a company that received some of the embezzled funds.
Moreover, an accountability court will indict Zardari and others in the Thatta Water Supply Scheme reference next month on 4th August.
