An accident occurred involving people sitting on the roof of the Sukkur Express coming from Jacobabad to Rohri, in which one person died and 11 were injured, as reported by national media on Saturday.
SSP Azhar Mughal stated that the pilgrims sitting on the roof of the Sukkur Express collided with electric wires. He confirmed that one person died in the accident and 11 were seriously injured. He said that the injured individuals were shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
According to the SSP, the affected people were injured due to electric shock and falling from the train.
It should be noted that this is not the first incident of its kind; accidents of this nature have been increasing due to people sitting on the roofs of various trains and buses.
