KARACHI: Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab has said that IG Sindh Kaleem Imam’s performance could be observed on the basis of increasing crime in Karachi.
While talking to media today, Murtaza Wahab said that even the federal government did not want to keep Kaleem Imam has IG Sindh.
Wahab further said that the Sindh government’s issue was increasing the crime rate in the city. The crime rate has increased significantly in last year, he added.
Wahab added that their issue was the law and order situation in Karachi, not the authorities of IG.
Criticizing the incumbent government, Wahab said that inflation has increased significantly in this tenure. Sindh Government proposed the names of Ghulam Qadir Thebo, Kamran Afzal, Mushtaq Mahar Sanaullah Abbasi, and Inaam Ghani as police chief, he added.
