Dollar Holds Firm at Rs278 in Open Market as Fresh Currency Rates Emerge

KARACHI: Fresh foreign exchange rates have been released in Pakistan’s currency market, with the US dollar being bought at Rs278 and sold at Rs278.20 in the open market. In the interbank market, the dollar is being bought at Rs277 and sold at Rs277.50.

In the open market, the euro is being bought at Rs316.50 and sold at Rs322.35, while the British pound is being bought at Rs366.93 and sold at Rs372.20.

The Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs74.05 and sold at Rs74.60, while the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs75.70 and sold at Rs76.55.

In the interbank market, the euro is being bought at Rs313.86 and sold at Rs314.43, while the British pound is being bought at Rs367.31 and sold at Rs367.97.

The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs192.22 and sold at Rs198.05 in the open market, while the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs194.19 and sold at Rs200.95.

The Japanese yen is being bought at Rs1.7342 and sold at Rs1.8339, while the Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs38.30 and sold at Rs38.92.
