BALOCHISTAN: Security forces have killed six militants affiliated with the group identified in the source as Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in the Saran Tangi area of Balochistan.
According to sources, the operation, codenamed “Operation Shaban 2,” was launched on the basis of intelligence reports. During the operation, security personnel targeted suspected militant hideouts.
The sources further said that nine suspected individuals were detained during the operation and are currently being interrogated.
A significant quantity of weapons, explosives and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the militants killed during the operation, according to the sources.
The operation was carried out as part of security forces’ efforts against militant elements in the area.
