Gold Price Hits Rs462,936 per Tola as Silver Also Records Gain

KARACHI: Gold and silver prices increased in Pakistan’s local bullion market on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with the price of gold rising by Rs800 per tola and silver by Rs72 per tola.

According to rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs800 to Rs462,936 per tola.

The price of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs686 to Rs396,893 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-karat gold rose by Rs629 to Rs363,831 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also recorded an increase in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs72 to Rs7,141 per tola, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs62 to Rs6,122.

Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold increased by $8 to $4,404 per ounce. Silver also gained 72 cents, reaching $66.62 per ounce.
