US technology giant Apple is preparing to unveil several new products at its annual launch event on September 9, 2026. According to reports, the company is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and potentially its first-ever foldable iPhone.
Reports suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro could feature a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max may retain a 6.9-inch screen. The new models are also expected to come with a smaller Dynamic Island, a new A20 Pro chip, 5G satellite connectivity, larger batteries, and new colour options.
Foldable iPhone Could Steal the Spotlight
Apple’s long-awaited foldable iPhone could be the biggest attraction of the event. The device is reportedly expected to feature a book-style folding design, with an outer display of around 5.5 inches and an inner screen measuring approximately 7.8 inches.
The foldable model is also rumoured to feature 12GB of RAM, two 48-megapixel rear cameras, and the possible return of Touch ID. Reports suggest that Apple could name the device the iPhone Ultra or iPhone Duo, while its starting price could be around $2,000 or more.
Apple is also expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 12, AirPods 5, and other new products. However, the company has not officially confirmed these details.
If Apple launches a foldable iPhone, it could mark a major shift in the company’s smartphone strategy and give it a stronger presence in the rapidly growing foldable phone market.
